What to Make of Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - The Short Version

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should be a good addition when it lands.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform your decision.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
